Our financial report consists of the financial statements, board and auditor's reports for 2024-25, supporting NWMPHN to continue to improve health outcomes, strengthen primary health care and connect services across the system.
This year we celebrate our 10th anniversary. We wish to thank our care providers, staff and expert advisors, including people with lived experience, their families and carers.
We supported more than 500 general practices and thousands of primary care providers through a period of significant reform.
We commissioned and managed more than 200 contracts, and collaborated on hundreds more projects across our region, Victoria and Australia.
10 years at NWMPHN
Primary health networks were created by the Australian Government following a review of the pre-existing Medicare Locals. Following a tender process, NWMPHN evolved from the Inner North West Melbourne Medicare Local.
To mark its first decade, we asked some of our longest-serving staff members about their thoughts, hopes and memories.
